3rd Foire Commerciale Anglo-FrançaiseLa salle alauna 21, Lac des Effres, 79130 SECONDIGNY samedi 20 septembre, 10h30 – 17h30. Following the success of previous years, the Anglo-French Trade Fair will be repeated again this year, Saturday 20th September. This hugely popular event at a fabulous lakeside setting attracts many visitors during the day and offers the perfect opportunity to meet local services and trades people, and discover what they can do for you! Organiser, Sarah Berry of 'The Deux-Sevres Monthly' magazine, invites you to come along and enjoy a classic British meal (Fish and Chips), crêpes or tea and cakes, some live music by local performers and browse the many stands. With more than 75 Exhibitors showcasing a wide range of services and products including jewellery, clothing, beauty products, builders, fresh and frozen foods, greeting cards, plants, language courses, estate agents, financial services, local art, gardeners and books, to name a few, there will definitely be something for everyone. This year Sarah is also very pleased to welcome Jim Bryde and his Racing Husky team to the event. They will be demonstrating their racing skills at the venue and Jim will be available to answer any questions about the sport and his dogs. Do come along and join us for a fun-filled day. There will be translators on site to help with any language difficulties – just look out for someone wearing a badge, or wave a flag! Lac des Effres also boasts alternative activities such as picnicking, fishing, walking, cycling and also offers a children’s play area with basketball court. Come along and say “Hi” or “Bonjour” to Sarah and her husband Rob!
