Throughout the night of the 5th/6th june 1944, the Azeville Gun Battery came under heavy attack from American paratroopers. But early in the morning it was able to join the action against the landings on Utah Beach. Our guide will take you into 350m of underground passages, as well as around the building that still bears the scars of the battle. He will show you the "blockhaus" architecture, recall the daily life of the 170 men stationed there and explain the courses of the battle.
