Religious capital from the VI to the XVII century the town still has traces of the successive occupying vivilisations. The majestic Cathedral and the pretigious cloister (XII XIV century) bear witness to its the Etienne Terrus Museumm, the galleries, the craftsmen, dans the festival "Music in Rommanesque Catatonia" all bear witness to the bong held artistic tradition.
