The Hotel Central is built upon what was an ancient monastery dating back to 1800. Yet despite its age - or perhaps because of it - the hotel is now more alive than ever before. This is a modern 2 star hotel that was completely renovated in the beginning of 2004. We are located just over an hour's drive south of Paris in the central region of France, close to the Loire castles and at one of the crossroads of the main French canals. The hotel emphasises the original style and home atmosphere in the interior design. The rooms feature newly tiled bathrooms and newly fitted blue carpet over the floors along with matching light colours throughout. The hotel might surprise you with a unique piece of art, a magnificent staircase in Louis XIV era style, and old furniture such as mirrors, wardrobes and chimneys present in some of the rooms.
